– DOH Scholarships 2022 –
The Department of Health (DOH) is now accepting applications from suitably qualified students into the Health Scholarship for Philippine students. It is a fully-funded scholarship for all students.

The DOH Medicine Scholarships 2022 Program includes all four years of medical education. Also, it includes summer immersion programs. And one year of post-graduate internship.

Eligible Universities for the Scholarship
The DOH Scholarships 2022 covers students of the following state universities:

3. And, Cagayan State University. This located in Carig Sur, Tuguegarao City.

6. And, Mindanao State University. This is located in Bonifacio Ave., Iligan City.
Requirements for DOH Scholarships 2022 for Medical Students
The following are some requirements for DOH Scholarships 2022:
1. You must be a natural Filipino citizen.
2. Also, you must be a holder of a Bachelor’s Degree. This should be conferred upon you by a duly recognized institution. This is for the postgraduate program.
3. And, you should have complied with all academic preparations.
4. Also, you should have a General Weighted Average of 2.50. Or, it’s equivalent or better. However, this depends on the medical school.
5. Furthermore, you’re to possess an NMAT of 45 and above. Also, this depends on the medical school.
6. And, you must have no failure in any subject in the undergraduate course. Also, this depends on the medical school.
7. Additionally, you must have no record of having been dropped from any medical school.
8. Also, you must have no record of having been denied admission.
9. And, don’t have any record of conviction of a crime involving moral turpitude.
10. Also, you must pass the MCAT (Medical College Admission Test).
11. Additionally, you must have passed a panel of interviews.
Some Benefits of the Scholarships
You stand a chance of your tuition and laboratory fees being paid for. Also, miscellaneous, and other school fees have been paid directly to the partner schools. And, allowance paid directly to scholars, composed of:
1. Living subsidy (PhP 4,500). This is paid per month.
2. And, lodging allowance (PhP 3,000). This is paid per month.
3. Also, transportation allowance (PhP 800). Also, this is paid per month.
4. And, book allowance (PhP 12,100). This is paid per month.
5. Also, uniform allowance (PhP 3,025). This is paid per month.
6. Additionally, miscellaneous allowance (PhP 5,500). Also, this is paid per month.
7. And, annual medical insurance (PhP2,400). And, this is per year. Also, it is to be paid directly to the Philippine Health Insurance Corp.
Application Process of DOH Scholarships 2022
It is pertinent you take note of this. The application process for this scholarship has two screenings phases. After which all applications will go to the Davao Center for Health Development. The two stages are:
1. Initial Screening
Firstly, students shall apply directly to any of the eight DOH partner schools. And should meet the minimum criteria/requirements.
Also, please note this. Those eligible to apply are those who have been admitted to the partner schools.
2. Final Screening
Secondly, please note. The validation and final evaluation of applicants by the DOH are based on set criteria. Those that are successful shall be notified. This is through the Scholarship Department of the partner schools.
