General Eligibility for Dr. Manmohan Singh Scholarship
Applicants should be able to meet the following criteria:
1. The applicant must be an Indian national with a valid Indian passport. And must be currently based in India.
2. Also, the applicant must be below 35 years of age on 31 December 2019.
3. Furthermore, no previous significant exposure to a UK education, or receipt of UK government funding.
4. Also, the applicant must hold a Master’s (postgraduate) degree. This should be from a reputed Indian university or institution. Also, it should be with a First Class award in the relevant subject or field by October 2022.
5. Also, the applicant must intend to pursue a full-time Doctoral research degree. This should be from the University of Cambridge. And must be commencing by September/October 2022.
6. Additionally, the applicant must be able to display evidence of leadership qualities.
7. Also, the applicant must be fluent in spoken and written English.
8. Additionally, the applicant should be able to fulfil any other admission criteria laid down by the University
