The Coca-Cola Scholars Program is one of the most prestigious and well-respected corporate scholarships in the United States.

Coca-Cola Bottlers and The Coca-Cola Company collaborated on the program in 1986 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of their .

It provides college scholarships to future leaders.

The Coca-Cola Scholars Program Scholarship

The Coca-Cola Scholars Program scholarship is given to students in their senior year of high school.

Students are recognized for their ability to lead and serve, as well as their dedication to making a positive difference in their schools and communities.

With the 34th class in 2022, the Foundation will have provided more than $78 million in educational support to over 6,600 Coca-Cola Scholars.

Each year, 150 Coca-Cola Scholars are chosen to receive this $20,000 scholarship. In March 2022, the 35th class will be announced.

Is Coca-Cola Scholarship Four Years?

Scholars of Coca-Cola This scholarship program is for high school seniors planning to attend a four-year college.

Semi-finalists for the Coke Scholarship from the original applicants, the scholarship committee will select approximately 2,200 semifinalists.

These semifinalists will reapply, and the 250 finalists from this group will be chosen.

Finalists for the Coke Scholarship in April of their senior year, 250 Finalists are invited to Atlanta for interviews.

Each of the 50 receives a $20,000 grant for their university or college.

The remaining 200 students will be designated Regional Scholars, with each receiving a $10,000 scholarship to help fund their college or university education.

The information about the interview is included in the letter informing the student that they have been chosen as a finalist.

Coca Cola Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

Before applying, the following requirements must be met:

1. US Citizens; US Nationals; US Permanent Residents; Temporary Residents (participating in a legalization program); Refugees and Asylees.

2. You should have a high school diploma by the time you apply.

3. Applicants who intend to study at an accredited university or college in the United States. 

Children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of Coca-Cola Company officers, owners, or employees are not eligible.

How Competitive is the Coca Cola Scholarship?

Given that this scholarship is offered by a nationally recognized company, the application process is extremely competitive.

Coca-Cola only awards the $20,000 scholarship to 150 prospective students each year, out of thousands who apply.

The Foundation is thought to select only 0.15% of applicants.

But don’t be discouraged; your chances are just as good as any other student applying.
