Location: Mgbom Na-Achara is located at Okposi development centre of Ohaozara local Government Area
Brief history: Mgbom Na-Achara is one of the autonomous communities that made up the old Okposi-Okwu Enechi Ekuma autonomous community, it was separated because of Administrative convince. It comprises of about eleven (11) villages (Ogwes) which are Mgbom Enu/Mgbom Ani, Amata/Amagu, Isinkwo Mgbom, Onuegu Mgbom, Enungene Mgbom, Ezieku Egbe Ogbuenu Mgbom, Ohuegu Mgbom, Onuesu Mgbom, Enuogungu Mgbom and Okposi Achara Mgbom.
It’s located on the south-East Coast of Esu River and shares common boundaries with Uburu on the west, Okposi-Okwu on the North, Okposi on the south, and Amasiri on the East.
The land is washed by Esu and ata rivers as well as numerous streams which are seasonal.
It’s soil texture ranges form clay, sandy and loamy soils. The people of Mgbom Na-Achara Engage in a lot of socio-Cultural activities such as cultural association, dances, rites, and ceremonies.
Population: It has a population of about 90,000. People
Land mass: It has a land mass of about 140km2
Topography: The type of weather in this area is similar to that found in other locations with Ohaozara Local Government Area.
Major Economics Activities: their major activities are Agriculture, trading and salt manufacturing.
The basic Economic interest groups are
d) crop farmers (mixed)
e) livestock farmers
f) processors
The above are the major economic interest groups in the area. There are other minor activities like trading and artistry
Major food crops: cassava, rice, yam, cocoyam, local beans.
Major cash crops: palm produce, assorted fruits, coconuts, plantains, bush, mangoes, etc.
Natural resources: Fadama sites, perennial streams, stones, salt lake, livestock, fertile land and rich forest resources.
Social resources: there are so many primary and secondary schools in the area, which are owned by Government and individuals, such as mgbom na-achara primary school, Government secondary school Okposi and federal government college respectively. There are several churches, hospitals and maternity homes.
Major markets: their major market is Eke-Okposi, other rely market are Nkwo-Ehcara, Ibem, and Afor markets etc.
Soil types: they are blessed with fertile soils, clay loamy, rocky and sandy soils.
Stake holders Analysis: the stake holders in this projects could be the following, SFDO, LFDO, Facilitators, Local Government Administration, local leaders, such as the village Heads, church leaders etc. all these have played a vital roles both collectively and individuals for the success of this project. If any of these lacks behinds, it could lead to delay or complete failure of the whole project.

PRIMARY BENEFICIARIES
The entire Mgbom na Achara communities along side communities in the other participating FCAS namely, Okposi, ugwulangwu, Oduago Okposi-Okwu and Enugu/Iviezuizor FCAS, respectively. Market women vulnerable group in particular will benefit immensely.
Management Committee: the FCA has a 15man management committee with 3 man executives comprise of vibrant ladies and gentle men, which was democratically elected at Akpamaka play ground 24th September 2010
Social inclusion and popular participation measure
-Protracted community-wide sensitization
-Special attention to women using the churches and markets as catchments points
-There is no marginalization since women and youths are part of FCA
-Decisions were by consensus and majority respected.
