Social Media Influencer
Faiz Baloch started his journey as a social media influencer while he was studying in college. There, he used to be a part of a biker group consisting of Faisal Shaikh, Hasnain Khan, Adnaan Shaikh, Faiz Baloch, and Shadan Farooqui. The group was called Team 07. Later, they created an account on TikTok, earlier known as Musical.ly.

On the application, they began posting lip-sync videos and comedy skits, which earned them popularity in India. By 2019, Faiz gained over 5 million followers on the application. The application was banned in 2020 after the Galwan Valley clash between India and China as a result of which he lost his fan following. Baloch then created an account on Instagram and began posting photos and videos on it. He later created accounts on numerous applications such as Moj and ShareChat. As of November 2023, Faiz has more than 9.6 million followers on Instagram. In November 2023, he had more than 26 million followers on the application Josh.

Suspension of The TikTok Account
In July 2019, the accounts of the members of Team 07 were suspended by TikTok. According to sources, their accounts were banned after Shiv Sena IT cell chief Ramesh Solanki lodged an FIR against the members for posting a video on the application in which they criticised the lynching of a 24-year-old Muslim man named Tabrez Ansari and said: “Innocent Tabrez was killed, but if Tabrez’s son grows up and takes revenge then Muslims shouldn’t be termed as terrorists.” TikTok, in its official statement, said,
TikTok has zero-tolerance for content that incites violence against other users or any content that violates its Community Guidelines. In line with this, the video in question, which has violated our Community Guidelines, is no longer available on TikTok. Such irresponsible acts will not be tolerated on our platform, hence we have suspended three user accounts and are cooperating with law enforcement agencies. The three user accounts belonged to Hasnain Khan, Faisal Shaikh, and Sadhan Faroqui.”
Thereafter, Team 07 uploaded another video on their social media handles seeking an apology and promising never to repeat the incident. Later, their accounts were unbanned.
