One undergraduate or graduate student will receive a six-month residential scholarship from the Fondazione Gino Cini.

The Giorgio Cini Foundation or simply Cini Foundation was founded in April 1951 to commemorate Giorgio Cini.

As a contribution to general costs and travel, the selected degree students will receive a total sum2 of 6,200 euros. Six months of free accommodation at the Vittore Branca Center Residence in San Giorgio Maggiore. Also, free use of all Vittore Branca Center facilities.

  • Eligible Countries
  • Eligible Course or Subjects Students may apply to the Glass Study Center/ Institute of Art History for research.
  • Criteria for Eligibility: To be eligible, applicants must meet the following/given requirements:
  • The applicants must remain in the Vittore Bracca Center Residence for six month.
  • The academic and professional communities must see the research proposals.
  • Graduates and undergraduates can apply.

  • Supporting Documents – Students must present the following documents at the university

  • Degree certificate(s) with individual exam marks or equivalent
  • Curriculum Vitae including language knowledge
  • Copy of the dissertation from your degree
  • The candidate will describe the topic of his research (around 1,500 words), and specify the timescale, goals, and materials and documents to consult at Fondazione GIO Cini.
  • Two reference letters, optionally from professors or scholars who have supervised or supervised the candidate.
  • One motivation letter, in which candidates describe themselves and the reasons for their/research.
  • Admission Requirements for Research: Students must satisfy the requirements of the institute to be admitted.
