GSEP ESED Scholarship 2022 Application Update

GSEP ESED Scholarship is now open for applications from suitably qualified students. It is a fully funded scholarship for all students sponsored by Global Sustainable Electricity Partnership (GSEP).

About the Scholarship

The Global Sustainable Electricity Partnership (GSEP) is a non-profit, CEO-led organization of leading electricity companies driving sustainable energy development worldwide through capacity-building activities and small-scale renewable energy projects.

The Education for Sustainable Energy Development (ESED) scholarship program inspires the next generation of innovators and thinkers to create a sustainable future.

Their scholars are exceptional students from developing countries studying in development.

Benefits of GSEP ESED Scholarship

The maximum value is 10,000 USD per year of study for at most 2 years.

Requirements for GSEP ESED Scholarship

To be eligible for this scholarship, prospective applicants must:

1. Undertake master’s-level studies in a field related to sustainable energy development.

Examples: zero-carbon energy, smart grids, electric transportation, energy storage, advanced electricity technologies, public policy, economics, law, political science, etc.

2. Pursue full-time studies for at least one full school year (two or three semesters) as of mid to late 2022.

3. Be a citizen of a developing country on the list of official development aid recipients identified by the Development Co-operation Directorate of the OECD.

4. Be committed to contribute to their home country’s development after their studies.

5. Be an outstanding student:

a). Excellent grades in the top 20% of their class.

b). Committed to zero-carbon energy development.

c). History of community involvement.

d). Determined to advance their knowledge and understanding.
