In 2014, Gurjoat Singh made his International debut at the Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea. In 2016, Gurjoat Siingh Khangura participated in the team event along with Mairaj Ahmed Khan and Sheeraz Sheikh at the Asian Shotgun Championships held in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
In 2019, he participated in the 63rd National Shooting Championship held at Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range in New Delhi, India. In 2021, he took part in the ISSF World Cup held in New Delhi, India. In the same year, he also participated in the ISSF World Championship (Shotgun) held in Osijek, Croatia. In 2023, Gurjoat Siingh Khangura participated in the 2023 ISSF World Cup held in Cairo, Egypt. In October 2023, he secured the fourth position in the Men’s Skeet individual event at the 2022 Asian Games held in Hangzhou, China. He also participated in the Men’s Skeet team event at the 2022 Asian Games along with Angad Vir Singh Bajwa and Anantjeet Singh Naruka, scoring a total of 355 points.
