2. Accipere Quam facere praestat insuriam– it is better to suffer an injustice than to do an injustice.
3. Abbundas cautela non nocet– there is no harm done by great caution.
4. Aedificicatum solo, solo, cedit– what is built on the land is to be regarded as having become part of the land.
5. Aequitas sequitur legem– equity follows the law
6. Affirmanti non neganti inlumbit probatin– the burden of proof is upon him who affirms not upon him who denies.
7. Affectio tua nomen imponit open tuo– your motives gives a name to your act.
8. Advocatatus diaboli– devil’s advocate
9. Actus non facit reum, nisi, rea mens sit- an act does not make the doer of it guilty unless the mind be guilty, i.e. unless the intent is criminal.
10. Argumentum ad crumenan– an argument to the purse i.e. to one’s in interest.
