How are Elves Named?
Elves have names when they are children and names when they are adults; upon becoming an adult, the Elf chooses their own name.
As such, random generation doesn’t make sense. Your Elf chose to be called the name you give them.

Nár noun “flame”, also nárë (NAR1). Translated “fire” in some names, see Aicanár(o), Fëanáro (where nár apparently has the masculine ending -o added to it).

The names of high elves are made of 12 prefixes and 12 suffixes, both male and female Altmer, in Arena and Daggerfall.
Both the male and female of Altmer have the same last names. Their name doesn’t have any special meaning like other races.
How Tall are High Elves?
High elves were roughly of human height, standing from 5′5″‒6′1″ (1.7‒1.9 m) on average, but were lighter, weighing from 130 to 180 pounds (59 to 82 kilograms).
Even exceptionally strong high elves looked rather slim compared with other races, looking athletic rather than muscular.
How Long do High Elves Live?
Middle age for a blood elf or high elf is around 175. They aren’t really considered old until age 260 or so.
A venerable quel’dorei is around 350 years old, and the maximum life span for a high elf or blood elf is 360-400 years of age.
