International students can apply for a Holland Government Scholarship to study for a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree at one of the country’s 21 public universities. The Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science, as well as many Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences, are funding this fellowship.

The Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science, as well as many Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences, are funding this scholarships.
The scholarship is valued at €5,000. This will be given to you throughout your first year of studies. Please keep in mind that this is not a full-tuition award.

Application criteria
- Your nationality is non-EEA.
- You are applying for a full-time bachelor’s or master’s programme at one of the participating Dutch higher education institutions.
- You meet the specific requirements of the institution of your choice. You can find these on the website of the institution.
- You do not have a degree from an education institution in the Netherlands.
