Create a Simple Fold
To release air, place the bag on the ground and smooth it out. To help the chips settle to the bottom of your bag, shake the bag slightly.
Your bag of chips should be placed on its back with the label facing up. The top of the bag should be flattened by three or four smoothing motions.
To remove extra air from the bag, work your way up from the bottom.
The bag’s opening should be folded over on itself. Turn the bag around so that the opening is facing you.
With your index finger on top of the bag and your thumbs underneath, grasp the corners of the open end.

To close the bag, fold the top 1–2 inches of the bag over on top of itself.
When the first fold is finished, apply pressure along the seam where it was folded.
Grab the top of the bag by sliding your thumb beneath the fold.
Make a second fold that is identical in size to your previous one. Once you’ve made 5–6 folds, repeat the process.
Place the bag on top of itself, upside down. Turn the bag you are using upside-down so that the folds are on the bottom.

The temperature range of most hair straightening flat irons, which is 375-425 degrees Fahrenheit, produces the finest seal when used to heat seal laminated foil barrier bags.
Simply plug it in, turn it on, and let it warm up for about a minute.
Then, depending on the bag in front of you, simply clamp down on the opening of your snack and hold for one or two seconds.
