About IMT, Enugu
The Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu came into existence under the then East Central State of Nigeria Edict No 10 of 1973. And it was promulgated by the Administrator of East Central State – Ajie Ukpabi Asika.
The edict took effect on the 1st of July, 1973. And this gave birth to what is now known as the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu.
Also, Dr. Ukwu I. Ukwu became the first Chairman of the Council. While Professor M.O. Chijioke and Mr. B.O. Akwukwuma became the first Rector and the first Registrar respectively.

IMT, Enugu seeks to advance cutting-edge managerial and technological knowledge. And this is by creating a functional, competitive, and indigenous technologically-oriented institution.
This will measure up to global standards. Also, will serve as a model for similar institutions in Nigeria and meet the needs of a dynamic society.

The IMT Post UTME
Institute Of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu, is now selling the post UTME screening exercise application form for admission.
It is into its National Diploma (ND) full-time programs for the 2023/2024 academic session. See the requirement and how to obtain the IMT post UTME form below.
The screening exam which will be computer-based takes place from Monday 19th Oct 2022 to Friday 23rd Oct 2022 by 8:00 am daily. Also, the screening exercise is open to all candidates who scored 120 and above in the 2022 UTME.

How to Apply for IMT Post UTME Form on the IMT Portal
Applicants should begin registration immediately using the following procedure:
1. Visit imt.edu.ng. And click on ONLINE PORTAL. Also, then click on at the top right-hand corner of the website.
2. Furthermore, fill the application form.
3. Cross-check the data supplied on the summary page of the form to ensure accuracy before submission
4. Also, select INTERSWITCH as the payment option. And generate an INVOICE that contains a REMITA number. Then, proceed to ANY BANK and pay the application fee of Two Thousand Naira (#2000.00) only.
Do this through the INTERSWITCH platform under ENUGU STATE IGR payment.
5. Additionally, candidates can also pay using their credit cards through the IMT Quick teller link:
6. Also, after payment, return to the portal imt.edu.ng and print the application form.
7. Every candidate must provide a valid Email and phone number.

Due to the closure of the Institute in compliance with the Government directive as part of measures to contain/prevent the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), note.
