Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation Scholarships: 2022 Application Portal Update

– Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation Scholarships –

The Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation is now accepting applications from suitably qualified students into their Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation Scholarships for students. It is a fully-funded scholarship for all students.

Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation Scholarships Overview

Shivdasani Foundation Scholarships provide financial support to young people. Also, it is an opportunity for young people with exceptional talent.

This could be in any field. And it is to improve their skills to operate in society. The foundation has been awarding scholarships since 1976.

Also, these scholarships are open to all Indian citizens residing in India. Also, candidates are normally expected to hold their first degree. And this is from a recognized university in India.

Again, Indian citizens who graduated from a recognized undergraduate program outside India can apply. However, they must have resided continuously and been employed or been studying in India.

And this is for at least two years, at the time of application. Also, to be eligible, candidates must be below 30 years old. This is as of July 1st in the year of application.

Additionally, students who are already studying or have started a program abroad are not eligible to apply.

Amount Details for Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation Scholarships

The maximum per student is USD 100,000. And it is equivalent to Rs 75,53,000. However, the scholarship amount will be given once.

Those who hold a postgraduate degree (e.g. Master’s or PhD) from a university outside India are also ineligible.

Also, applicants must have an admission decision. This is because; the Foundation will not consider candidates without admission or pending admission.

Please be informed that Scholarships are generally awarded in May or June. And this is for studies that will begin the following September or October.

Overall Required Documents

Only one reference letter is mandatory. The letter of recommendation should be uploaded with the application.

However, in the event, the referee would like to send in a letter directly to Inlaks they can email it to them at .

Also, the reference letters must only be sent in after the successful submission of an application. Thus, if reference letters are sent before the successful submission of the application, they will be disregarded.

Also, needed is evidence of any outstanding achievements in extra-curricular activities in any field

Additional Documents

Applicants must submit evidence of admission to a university or a course. And the applicant must submit full detail of the institute’s financial requirements.

Also, candidates in architecture, fine and applied arts, and related subjects must upload their portfolio as a pdf file. Or they can share a website/online portfolio link.

However, candidates for Film, Dance, Acting, and Music must also upload through a link. Furthermore, a photocopy of the first and last pages of a passport is needed.

And the declaration of all funding received for the course too.
