We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Reconciliation Officer

Ref: IITA-HR-NRS2019-036

Locations:  Ibadan, Oyo

Recruitment Type: National (3-year renewable contract)

Duties

The successful candidate will among other things perform the following duties:

1. Perform short-term investments management with various banks;
2. Prepare and load journals using Accounting Desktop Integrator into Oracle Interface;
3. Perform reconciliation of bank/cash account monthly (32 banks, cash and deposit accounts);
4. Prepare and send remittance advice to the payee on foreign payments made through wire transfer;
5. Perform data entry to oracle AP and GL daily;
6. Download exchange rate from FT and convert to excel weekly;
7. Journalize emergency cash transactions daily and write cash book adjustments daily;
8. Attend to enquires from internal/external auditors and from local/overseas suppliers as they affect treasury functions;
9. Book fast track purchase and corporate credit card transactions;
10. Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Treasury Manager.

Qualification and Experience

1. B.Sc/HND in Accounting or related fields. ICAN skill level (former ICAN PEII) with a minimum of six (6) years of working experience performing related roles in a structured business environment.
