International Onshore Merit Scholarship 2022 Application Update

– International Onshore Merit Scholarship –

The University of Queensland (UQ)  is now accepting applications from suitably qualified students for their International Onshore Merit Scholarship. It is a fully-funded scholarship for all students.

About the Scholarship

This scholarship is provided by University of Queensland (UQ).

The purpose of the Scholarship is to provide assistance with tuition fees for high achieving international onshore students commencing a relevant degree program at the University of Queensland.

Value of International Onshore Merit Scholarship

The value of the Scholarship is a one-off tuition fee reduction of A$10,000.

Award of Scholarship

The Scholarship is competitive and awarded on the recommendation of the awarding committee to

Applicants who, in the opinion of the awarding committee, show the greatest merit as demonstrated by:

1. Academic merit, and

2. Any other information that the awarding committee considers relevant.

Eligibility for Scholarship

You are eligible if you:

1. Are an international student.

2. Have completed your most recent qualification in Australia.

3. Have achieved a competitive score as determined by the University when ranked among the pool of offer holders for programs in their commencement semester.

And you:

1. Have received an offer to study full-time at UQ  commencing Semester 1 or 2, 2022 in an eligible program. This includes most undergraduate and postgraduate programs with a few exceptions. Check the terms and conditions to see if your program is eligible.

2. Have satisfied the program entry and English language proficiency requirements

3. Will enroll full-time.

And you have not received:

1. Another scholarship from UQ.

2. A full scholarship or sponsorship from another organization (applicants with partial scholarships or sponsorships may be considered).
