JEECUP 2021 Eligibility, UP Polytechnic and Group Wise Eligibility

JEECUP 2021 Eligibility must be checked by the candidates before applying. This is a state-level examination for the candidates seeking admission in the government and private polytechnic colleges of Uttar Pradesh.

The candidates will be able to apply online for filling the application form. Before applying, you must ensure your eligibility. Here, we are providing details about the JEECUP Eligibility 2021.

JEECUP 2021 Eligibility

The candidate who satisfies the eligibility requirement prescribed by the Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education (UPBTE) can fill the JEECUP 20211 application form. Check whether you are eligible for the exam or not. The detailed information about eligibility is as follows:

General Eligibility:

• Domicile: JEECUP Applicants must possess the domicile of Uttar Pradesh.
• Age Criteria: The age of the applicant should be a minimum of 14 years as of 1st July 2021. There is no upper age limit prescribed to apply.
• Appearing: Candidates who have appeared/appearing in the qualifying exam are also eligible.

Qualification Criteria:

• For Engineering/ Technology Diploma: Passed 10th level with an aggregate of 35% marks. Students must have obtained 50% marks in each of Maths, Physics, and Chemistry subjects.
• For Diploma in Pharmacy: Passed 10+2 level with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Biology/ Maths subject. Students must have obtained 50% marks in each of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Maths subject.
• For Lateral Entry in Engineering/ Technology Diploma: Passed 12th level OR 12th level with vocational/ technical subjects OR ITI trade (2 years). Students must have passed with 40% marks each in PCM subjects and 60% marks in engineering subject (civil, mechanical, electronics, etc.)

Note: If a candidate expects the result of minimum/Equivalent qualifying examination to be declared after 15th June 2021 by the examining body, the candidate is advised not to attempt UPJEE (POLYTECHNIC) 2021.

Group Wise Eligibility:

For Agriculture Engineering:

• Qualification: Candidates should pass 10th level or equivalent from any recognized board.
• Marks Criteria: Candidates must secure 35% marks in their qualifying exam.
• Subjects: Candidates must have mathematics (50% marks), physics, chemistry, and agriculture (50%) subjects in their 10th Class.
• Appearing: Candidates who are appearing in the 10th class can also apply.

For Diploma in Pharmacy:

• Qualification: Candidates should pass the 10th and 12th class from a recognized board.
• Subjects: Candidates must have physics and chemistry as compulsory subjects along with mathematics/ biology subjects.
• Marks Criteria: Candidates must obtain 50% marks in physics and chemistry and 50% in biology/ mathematics

Seat Reservation:

The UP residence candidates can apply for the 85% seats through JEECUP 2021. Rests of the 15% seats are reserved for management.

JEECUP 2021 Application Form

JEECUP 2021 Application Form has been made available through online mode. The application form has been started from 1st January 2021. Candidates are required to upload a scanned image of passport size photograph, signature & left-hand thumb impression in the prescribed format.

Authority will also provide a correction facility to edit the application form.

Application Fee:

Payment mode: The application fee can be paid through online mode using debit/ credit card/ net banking method. Also, the fee can be paid through the E-challan of SBI/ICICI bank. The fee is discussed below for various categories:

• General/ OBC candidates – Rs.300 + Bank charges
• ST/SC candidates – Rs.200 + Bank charges
