The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) wishes to inform the general public that the Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) for recruitment into the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) will hold in the 36 States of the federation and FCT.

Candidates are advised to check their email addresses and phone numbers for notification and venue for CBAT from 6 pm.

All shortlisted candidates have also been assigned CBAT centres and are to report to the centres at the times indicated against their names to sit for the Test.

Candidates who applied for NIS should visit  to updated their educational records and print individual letters of invitation

Candidates will not have access to any centre or session other than that allotted via email addresses and phone numbers.

Therefore, candidates are to note the specific sessions and time for the examination as stated in the notification message for strict compliance.

All candidates are to come along and bring the following:

  • Photocopy of Online Application Reference Form and any other bona fide form of ID with very clear holder’s picture
  • Face Mask (mandatory)

General Eligibility Criteria CDCFIB 2021

To be eligible for these jobs, the applicants must meet the following requirements:

  1. Possession of B.Sc, , OND in relation to the applied position from a recognized institution.
  2. Any added certificate either postgraduate or professional certification will be of advantage.
  3. NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificate.
  4. Applicants must not be above 35 years old.
  5. West African School Certificate (WAEC) or Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSSC) with Credits in not less than three (3) subjects including English and at least passes in two (2) other subjects; or
  6. Candidates must have National Examination Council (NECO)/General Certificate of Education (GCE) Ordinary Level with passes in four (4) subjects obtained at one sitting or five (5) subjects obtained at two sittings including the English Language.)
  7.  (ND) obtained from a recognized institution. National Certificate of Education (NCE) from a recognized institution; or General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) in two (2) subjects obtained at one sitting or three (3) subjects obtained at two sittings.
  8. Must be computer literate.
