We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head of Mechanical Engineering Department (m/w)

Location: Lagos / Nigeria

Tasks

• Management of construction sites (mechanical engineering)
• Construction of construction site equipment as well as economic use of equipment
• Repair and maintenance of construction machinery and equipment (organization)
• Device management as well as scheduling and coordination
• Spare parts and material orders/warehousing
• Ensuring the required quality standards for repair, service, process engineering, productivity, and operational safety
• Work preparation, management, and planning of personnel
• Report of warranty and goodwill damages
• Electricity generation (generators), electrical equipment, water extraction, and treatment
• Operation of rock crushing plants as well as asphalt and concrete mixing plants steel construction.

• Completed Degree in Mechanical Engineering (FH / TU) or a comparable qualification
• Relevant professional experience in comparable function as well as international experience (ideally in non-European countries)

General Eligibility Criteria for Julius Berger Nigeria Recruitment

To be eligible for these jobs, the applicants must meet the following requirements:

1. Possession of B.Sc, , , OND in relation to the applied position from a recognized institution.
2. Any added certificate either postgraduate or professional certification will be of advantage.
3. NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificate.
4. Applicants must not be above 35 years old.
5. West African School Certificate (WAEC) or Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSSC) with Credits in not less than three (3) subjects including English and at least passes in two (2) other subjects; or
6. Candidates must have National Examination Council (NECO)/General Certificate of Education (GCE) Ordinary Level with passes in four (4) subjects obtained at one sitting or five (5) subjects obtained at two sittings including the English Language.)
7.  (ND) obtained from a recognized institution. National Certificate of Education (NCE) from a recognized institution; or General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) in two (2) subjects obtained at one sitting or three (3) subjects obtained at two sittings.
8. Must be computer literate.
