Korea University Global Leader Scholarship 2022 Application Update

Korea University Global Leader Scholarship is now open for applications from suitably qualified students. It is a fully funded scholarship for all students sponsored by Korea University.

About the Scholarship

is a private research university in Seoul, South Korea. Established in 1905, it is one of the nation’s oldest and most prominent institutions of higher education.

It is considered one of SKY universities, known for being one of the best universities in the country. The student body consists of over 20,000 undergraduate students and over 10,000 graduate students.

In celebration of its centennial in 2005, KU established Global KU Scholarship. This scholarship aims to support future global leaders around the world to study at Korea University.

Benefits of Korea University Global Leader Scholarship

This scholarship offers:

1. 100% of the entrance fee and tuition fee.

2. Living support fee worth KRW500,000 per month (Only 4 months during the semester).

Requirements for Korea University Global Leader Scholarship

1. Open for International applicants.

2. Cumulative GPA from the previous (latest) school of 4.0 or higher (out of 4.5), 3.83 or higher (out of 4.3), 3.57 or higher (out of 4.0), or 90 or higher (out of 100)

3. TOEFL (iBT) 90 or higher (My Best Score accepted), new TEPS 386 or higher, Academic IELTS 7.0 or higher, or TOPIK level 6.

3.Recommended by the department and permission from the Dean of the KU Graduate School.

4. TOEFL Home Edition and IELTS Home Test(Indicator) are NOT acceptable.

5. Students are not allowed to be awarded this scholarship with other scholarships like Global Korea Scholarship or Foundation Scholarship at the same time.

6. Both admission evaluation and scholarship award evaluation will be conducted automatically and simultaneously. You do not need to contact the department individually for recommendations from the department.
