Martin Memorial Scholarship is now open for applications from suitably qualified students. It is a fully funded scholarship for all students sponsored by the Queens University Belfast.
About the Scholarship
The R. T. Martin Memorial Fund’s remaining balance plus a gift from Mrs. Martin was used to establish this Scholarship in 1921.
It is designed to help students who are enrolled in a teacher preparation program and who want to pursue a primary degree at one of the following university colleges, whether part- or full-time:
1. Stranmillis University College.
2. St Mary’s University College.

Requirements for Martin Memorial Scholarship
1. Candidates must have the necessary qualifications for entrance to the University, have good academic standing i.e. 2:1 or above and be experiencing financial difficulties.
2. The value of the scholarship is up to £400 and may be increased if the candidate is not in receipt of an award from a public authority if funds permit.
3. All awards are subject to funding availability.
