Maynooth University has established the Two Year Science Foundation Ireland Fully-Funded Research Masters Scholarships to allow students to finish the PhD doctorate in Ireland.

The selected candidate will work in a fascinating robotics collaborative project that focuses on drones and ground vehicles without a pilot (UGVs).

How to Apply For Masters Scholarship in Ireland

  • What to do: In order to submit an application for this award, the applicants need to be admitted to a PhD in the institution of their choice. Then, they are able to submit an application through the Common Appor PAC. Applications must be sent by e-mail to Prof. Tim McCarthy (tim.mccarthy@mu.ie) and Prof. John McDonald (john.mcdonald@mu.ie). Early applications are highly encouraged.
  • Supporting Documents: Applications must contain:
    • A cover letter that explains the applicant’s motivations and interests in the subject of the project. Include any relevant background information or previous experience.
    • A Curriculum Vitae, which includes the educational qualifications of the applicant as well as any publications or achievements in science.
    • Academic transcripts.
    • Two references from academic sources
    • Admission Qualifications: Applicants must have a bachelor’s education from Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or equivalent, with a mark of 2.1H or greater.
  • English Language Skills: The student need to be proficient in English skills.
