Maulana Azad Scholarship 2023 Application Form Portal Update

Maulana Azad Scholarship 2023, which is fully funded and sponsored by the Maulana Azad Education Foundation, is presently accepting applications from eligible students.

The Maulana Azad Scholarship 2023

The Begum Hazrat Mahal National Scholarship, also known as the Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad Scholarship, is a financial aid program provided by the Maulana Azad Education Foundation under the Government of India’s Ministry of Minority Affairs.

The scholarship targets girls from minority communities studying in grades 9-12 who demonstrate academic excellence.

The Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad Scholarship, commonly known as the National Scholarship, is available to meritorious girl students from minority communities, which include Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Parsis, and Jains.

To be eligible, the annual income of the applicant’s family should not exceed 2.5 lakh per annum.

Successful applicants can receive INR 25,000 per month for two years under JRF and INR 28,000 per month under SRF.

Eligibility Criteria for Maulana Azad Scholarship

1. The scholarship is only available to female students belonging to six minority communities: Muslims, Christians, Buddhists, Jains, Parsis, and Sikhs.

2. Eligible students must be studying in classes 9 to 12 and have achieved a minimum of 50% marks in the previous class.

3. The annual family income should not exceed 2 lakh INR.

4. The income certificate must be issued by a competent authority designated by the state government or UT administration, and can be in English, Hindi, or a regional language.

5. Each student is allowed to submit only one online application. Multiple applications will be considered duplicates and canceled.

6. Scholarship funds will be directly credited to the beneficiary’s account.

7. Only a maximum of two students from the same family will be eligible for the scholarship.

8. There is no fee for registering or submitting an online application.

Maulana Azad Scholarship Reward

The scholarship amount under Maulana Azad Scholarship is divided into two parts for students in class 9th and 10th, and for those in class 11th and 12th.

Students in class 9th and 10th receive INR 5000 per year, while those in class 11th and 12th receive INR 6000 per year.

The scholarship amount is transferred to the beneficiary through the DBT mode and no other mode of payment is permitted, such as payment of fees or transfer to a parent/guardian’s account through cheque or DD.

Selection Procedure

The selection process for Maulana Azad Scholarship is based on the family income of the student’s parent or guardian.

The eligible students will be selected based on the lower-income criteria and those who have scored a minimum of 50% marks in the previous qualifying examination.

2. Certificate of disability.

3. Publication of research work.

4. Scholarship or current employment certificate.

How To Apply

1. Registration Form.

2. During registration, candidates must provide all the mandatory details.

3. After registration, students receive a link to download the school verification form, which must be verified by the school principal and uploaded during the scholarship completion process.

4. Applicants are required to use their registration credentials to log in.

5. Fill out the application details, upload the required documents, and submit the application.
