– MBA EEA Excellence Scholarship –

The University of Leeds is now accepting applications from suitably qualified students for their MBA EEA Excellence Scholarship. It is a partially funded scholarship for all students.

About the Scholarship

The University of Leeds is a public research university in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. It was established in 1874 as the Yorkshire College of Science. In 1884 it merged with the Leeds School of Medicine (established 1831) and was renamed Yorkshire College.

It became part of the federal Victoria University in 1887, joining Owens College (which became the University of Manchester) and University College Liverpool (which became the University of Liverpool)

The university’s history is linked to the development of Leeds as an international center for the textile industry and clothing manufacturing in the United Kingdom during the Victorian era.

The university’s roots can be traced back to the formation of schools of medicine in English cities to serve the general public.

Leeds University Business School is a full-service business school regularly ranked high by the Financial Times, QS and The Economist.

The school delivers undergraduate, master’s, MBA, Ph.D., executive, and professional education and online study to several students from around 100 countries.

Requirements for MBA EEA Excellence Scholarship 

To be considered for the MBA EEA Excellence Scholarship, applicants are to meet the following criteria:

1. Applicants wishing to undertake the full-time MBA in September 2022 will be considered for the scholarship.

2. Applicants must possess outstanding academic achievement.

3. Must show career progression.

4. Must show the potential to contribute to the full-time MBA program.

5. Must demonstrate understanding of the economic and business challenges facing their home country.

Procedure

1. Candidates will be assessed by their responses on their application form and their performance at interviews with the MBA Programme Director.

2. Successful applicants can expect to be notified of their scholarship award following a successful interview with the MBA Director and within two weeks of receiving notification of their conditional or unconditional offer for the full-time MBA.

3. Successful applicants must accept their scholarship within two weeks of receiving the scholarship offer.
