– McMillan-Stewart Foundation Scholarship –

The Geneviève McMillan-Reba Stewart Foundation in partnership with Sciences Po American Foundation is now accepting applications from suitably qualified students into the McMillan-Stewart Foundation Scholarship for students. It is a fully funded scholarship for all students.

About McMillan-Stewart Foundation Scholarship

The Geneviève McMillan-Reba Stewart Foundation was founded in 2005 to carry out the ambition of its founder, Geneviève McMillan (1922-2008), as well as to honour her friend, artist Reba Stewart (1930-1971).

McMillan’s passion for Africa is honoured via this scholarship. Since 2010, the McMillan-Stewart Foundation has teamed with the Sciences Po American Foundation to provide merit-based scholarships to African students from Sub- African countries to get entrance to France’s higher education system.

Benefits

Successful students will be awarded a scholarship that will pay the full cost of Sciences Po tuition for the duration of their undergraduate studies.

A separate grant may be given to cover living expenditures.

Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates must be citizens of a sub-Saharan African country;

Similarly,  they must have completed their high school education in a sub-Saharan African country;

Lastly, they should be accepted to Sciences Po’s undergraduate Europe-Africa program.

Application Details

Candidates must first apply to the Sciences Po Europe Africa undergraduate program. Applications for the Emile Boutmy scholarship should be completed on Sciences Po’s Admissions website and include all supporting documentation asked.

All candidates must additionally apply for the Geneviève McMillan-Reba Stewart Foundation Scholarship during the two weeks following their application by sending an application to scholarship@usscpo.org and .

Finally, a cover letter describing why you want to study at Sciences Po’s undergraduate program is required.

Deadline for McMillan-Stewart Foundation Scholarship

The undergraduate program (applicants from international secondary schools) has a deadline of February 23, 2022, whereas the undergraduate program (applicants from French secondary schools) has a deadline of mid-June 2022.
