Mitacs Globalink Research Internship 2022 is a national program that aims to encourage international student education by educating Canadian researchers on research techniques and methodology.
The Globalink research internship for internationally based students at the University of Toronto combines two academic programs in one and provides internships in multiple disciplines.
Students can also pursue their internship at the college’s summer program.

For international undergraduates from the following nations and regions: Australia, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Mexico, Pakistan, South Korea, Taiwan, Tunisia, Ukraine, United Kingdom, and the United States, the Mitacs Globalink Research Internship is a competitive program. Top-ranked applicants take part in a 12-week research internship from May to October each year, overseen by professors from Canadian universities in a range of academic fields, from science, engineering, and mathematics to the humanities and social sciences.

- The candidate must be a full-time undergraduate or undergraduate/master’s student from an accredited institution.
- The candidate must be a citizen of one of the Mitacs eligible countries.

- A minimum of 18 years of age is required of the candidate.
- As with Fall 2022, the applicant must have one or three remaining semesters.
- The candidate must be available to complete a 12-week internship in Canada.
