– MTN Foundation Scholarship Scheme for the Blind –
The 2022 edition of MTN Foundation Scholarship Scheme For the Blind has commenced. With over N1,690,800,000 spent so far, the MTN Foundation “Scholarship scheme” is pleased to commence phase eight of this hugely successful initiative.
MTN Scholarships under the Youth Development Cause, is an annual award that seeks to recognize and reward qualified high performing students in Nigerian Public Tertiary Institutions:
MTN Science and Technology Scholarship, currently in its 12th year, is open to eligible 300 level students studying Science & Technology-related courses, in Nigerian Public Tertiary Institutions (Universities, , and Colleges of Education).

MTN Foundation Scholarship Scheme For the Blind?
MTN Scholarship for Blind Students in its 10th year is targeted at qualified 200 level blind students studying any course in Nigerian Public Tertiary Institutions (Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges of Education).
60 successful blind students are awarded scholarships worth N200,000.00 annually till graduation if they maintain the required grades.
Who Can Apply
1. Students of a public tertiary institutions, who are dependent on Braille
2. 2nd or 3rd year full time under-graduates in public universities and colleges of education studying other disciplines beside Law with Cummulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.5
3. 3rd year full time Law under-graduates in public universities with CGPA of 2.5
4. Scholarships will be renewed for the existing students who have maintained a minimum of 2.5 for universities and colleges of education and 2.0 for polytechnic students
5. Full time Polytechnic under-graduates in ND2, HND2 with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 and with one of the following:
- ND1 result (applicants currently in ND2)
- HND1 result (applicants currently in HND2)
