Munich Business School Available Programmes

In six semesters, the BACHELOR International Business program at MBS provides a solid foundation of knowledge and skills in international business administration.

The MASTER programs of Munich Business School aim to deepen, specialize, and broaden knowledge and skills in international business administration.

The Master of Business Administration (MBA)program MBA General Management (full-time or part-time) for working professionals are designed to enhance business and management skills and knowledge.

1. Bachelor of International Business

The Bachelor International Business program lays the perfect foundation for your international management career. It provides you with sound business knowledge imparted by experienced lecturers from academia and corporate practice alongside equipping you with the proper skills and tools to successfully apply your expertise in practice.

Programme Requirements

All applicants for the BACHELOR International Business study program need a school leaving certificate that entitles to higher education in Bavaria, e.g., Abitur, Fachhochschulreife, Matura, IB, international school leaving certificates.

As an ideal preparation for the Bachelor study program, Munich Business School offers the preparatory program Pre-Bachelor International Business.

Language Requirements (Bilingual Track)

English Proficiency

Applicants for the Bilingual Track must proof their English language skills by passing one of the following language tests:

➛ TOEFL iBT: min. 85 (min. 22 in writing and min. 20 in all other bands; MBS TOEFL Institution Code: 5772)

➛ IELTS: min. level of 6.5 – Academic Module

➛ ELS English for Academic Purposes: Advanced Level 112

Test results can only be accepted if achieved within the last two years. If you are unable to obtain your test results before handing in your MBS application, please advise us of your planned test date.

The English proficiency test can be waived by applicants having completed their schooling in English (i.e. US High School Diploma, IB Diploma).

Transfer to MBS

Munich Business School offers applicants with above-average grades the possibility of transferring to MBS at a higher semester. It is only possible to be admitted into the 2nd or 3rd semester.

To be able to evaluate and determine acceptance of transfer credits, you need to submit original transcripts or certified copies, accompanied by course descriptions. The following admission requirements must be met:

➛ Complete application documents

➛ An average GPA of at least 2.5

➛ Proof of 30 ECTS (for transfer into the 2nd semester) or 60 ECTS (for transfer into the 3rd semester)

➛ Recognition of certificates and examinations for business studies to date in a state-approved university in Germany or abroad

➛ Proof of English language skills and other foreign languages (Spanish, French, Arabic, Chinese, Russian, or German as a foreign language)

➛ Proof of an internship (for transfer into the 3rd semester

Assessment Day

The Assessment Day at Munich Business School focuses on the applicant’s personality and contains

➛ Personal interview on the applicant’s motivation

➛ Team assignment

➛ Presentation of results

If you are unable to come to Munich for the Assessment Day, MBS alternatively offers a personal interview via Skype (60 minutes).

Your Study Contract

The Admissions Office informs you about the outcome of the application process within ten working days. In case of your acceptance, Munich Business School will provide you with an acceptance letter as well as two copies of your study contract.

One copy needs to be signed in returned within two weeks to secure your spot in the program. The other copy needs to be kept for your own records.

The acceptance to the study program requires an enrollment fee of € 690 (for Non-EU students: € 1,490) and a deposit of € 1,000 due upon signing the study contract. The deposit will be deducted from your first
tuition fee installment.

Your Student Visa

If you are a Non-EU national, you are required to apply for a student visa in order to start your studies in Germany. To obtain a visa invitation letter from Munich Business School, please take the following steps:

➛ Hand in your signed study contract and a copy of your passport details page.

➛ Transfer the one-time enrollment fee and the deposit of € 1,000. The deposit will be deducted from the first-semester tuition installment.

Undergraduate Programme Tuition Fee

Overall Bachelor MORE Tuition Fee: € 36,400

The tuition fee is paid in 7-semester installments of € 5,200 each. The fee for the Bachelor’s thesis is already included. The first installment is due at the beginning of your studies and can be paid by bank transfer or PayPal.

You may request a monthly payment. Books, travel, and accommodation costs are not included in the tuition fee.

Application Processing Fee: € 60

The non-refundable processing fee can be paid via bank transfer or via PayPal.

Enrollment Fee: € 690 (Non-EU Students: € 1,490)
