NAF Begins Free Medical Outreach to Host Communities – Today’s news has it that the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has begun its medical outreach for host communities in Benue State as part of activities marking the 53rd Anniversary Celebration taking place in Makurdi, Benue State.

According to news on the official website of NAF, the two-day medical outreach was flagged off today in Akile Tyo-Mou community along Gboko road during which series of medical services including blood sugar test, eye test, dental check, blood pressure check and health enlightenment talks were provided free of charge to every individual that showed up for treatment.

It was recorded that free treatments and administered drugs for the patients by the NAF Medical Team while those diagnosed with severe health conditions were referred to the 161 NAF Hospital in Makurdi for further treatment to better their health.

The Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the NAF Day Celebration, Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Isiaka Amao speaking during the exercise,  said that the aim of the medical outreach was to give back to the host community for accommodating and supporting the activities of the NAF over the years.

Air Vice Marshal Amao maintained that the medical outreach would last for the period of the celebration and extended to other neighbouring communities.
