About Niger Delta University

Established in 2000, the Niger Delta University (NDU) is a Bayelsa State Government funded university which is located in Wilberforce Island (an island of great historic significance), Bayelsa State, Nigeria.

It has two main campuses, one in the state capital, Yenagoa (which contains the law faculty), and the other in Amassoma. It also has its teaching hospital known as Niger Delta University Teaching Hospital (NDUTH) in Okolobiri.

The University came into being in 2000 by Law, started academic work in 2001/2002 with 1,500 students with seven faculties and the College of Health Sciences.

Currently, the University has the following faculties; Arts, Education, Engineering, Law, Management Sciences, Sciences, Social Sciences, Agricultural Technology (2002/2003), Basic Medical Science (2006).

Requirements

Holders of WAEC/SSCE, GCE O’Level or their equivalent with at least credit passes in five (5) relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics obtained in mot more than two sittings are eligible to apply.

Procedure to Check NDU Part-Time Admission List

  1. Go to the NDU admission portal at .
  2. Locate and click on the ‘Check Admission Status’ button.

  3. Supply your Form No or Epin Code in the required field.

  4. Finally, click on the Continue button to access your ND part-time admission status.
