The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) is now accepting applications from suitably qualified students into their NNPC/Shell National University Scholarship. It is a fully funded scholarship for all students.
About NNPC/Shell National University Scholarship
The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company Limited (SNEPCo), and their co-venture partners are now accepting applications for the NNPC/SNEPCo National University Scholarship Programme in 2021.
The program aims to promote academic excellence and help young Nigerians develop their talents. It gives successful applicants a yearly scholarship from their second year until the end of their undergraduate degree program.
Eligibility for NNPC/Shell SNEPCo National University Scholarship
1. You must be a citizen of Nigeria
2. Currently, must be in your second year of full-time study in a Nigerian University accredited by the (NUC)
3. Have a minimum CGPA of 3.0 in a 5-grade system
4. Not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship (National or International)

How to Apply for NNPC/Shell SNEPCo National University Scholarship
1. Every applicant should have a valid personal email account.
2. Applications by eligible candidates should be submitted online
3. Candidates should include personal and educational details in the application.
4. Applicants should upload scanned copies of the following as part of the application;
5. A recent passport-sized photograph of the applicant in JPEG format, and not over 200 kilobytes;
6. University or JAMB (UTME or D/E) Admission Letter;
7. Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) Scores;
8. O’ Level Results and ‘A’ Level /OND /NCE Results as applicable;
9. Letter of from State of origin showing applicant’s local government of origin; and
10. Academic results for 100 level.

Applications should be submitted by October 2, 2021.
The examination date will be communicated to shortlisted candidates only.
Important Information
1. Each document submitted online must not exceed 200KB and the image format must be in JPEG.
2. Beware of fraudulent websites when applying for the NNPC/SNEPCo scholarship online. Such websites may ask you to make some payments in the application’s course. These are completely sites that should be avoided. NNPC/SNEPCo scholarship application is FREE.
3. SNEPCo will not accept email applications. It is important to visit the official website for detailed information and to access the online application portal.
4. SNEPCo is committed to providing scholarship that are not associated with application fees.
5. SNEPCo DOES NOT ASSIGN Representatives/Agents to assist applicants.
6. Any candidate found to have presented false documents will be disqualified or withdrawn at any level of the scholarship.
7. Only short-listed candidates will be invited for a computer-based test’
