About Nassarawa State University Keffi (NSUK)
Nassarawa State University Keffi, NSUK is a comprehensive institution located in Keffi, Nassarawa. NSUK was founded in 2002 and was accredited by the National Universities Commission for educational recognition.
It is a co-educational institution that offered programs such as Undergraduate degrees program, bachelor degrees program, and postgraduate program.
Nasarawa state university offers bachelor’s degree programs in Agriculture, law, scenic and social sciences. The university has a large student population that is pretty diverse in terms of culture and religious backgrounds.
Historical Development of NSUK:
Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Was established under the Nasarawa State Law No. 2 of 2001 (see 2.2) as passed by the State House of Assembly. The University came into existence under the visionary and dynamic administration of the Governor.
(Dr) Abdullahi Adamu (Sarkin Yakin Keffi, Aare Obateru of the source, Ile-Ife), the first democratically elected Governor of Nasarawa State. The aim of establishing the University was, fundamentally, to provide an avenue for the indigenes of Nasarawa State to pursue and acquire a University education.

NSUK Admission Requirements:
- All Prospective Candidates must choose the institution as their choice of University in the JAMB/UTME form
- All candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) credits passes in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics either in SSCE, GCE, and any other approved certificate examination by the institution.
- Candidates, Cut-off mark must be at least 180 in the conducted UTME/JAMB examination and must also beat the present/current cut-off mark of the institution
- All five (5) credits passes should not be more than two sittings.
- To all transferred candidates, must have a minimum of 1.50 and 2.40 CGPA
- Candidates must be over 16 years of age.
