OIL SPILLAGE AND ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION AS ANOTHER CONSUMER OF NUISANCE IN NIGERIA

Nigeria today is faced with multiple environmental problems. As one of the consequences  of  environmental nuisance in Nigeria, for instance, in Abonnema, Rivers State the result of  a  spillage of reported by the environmental right  Association (ERA) resulted  in thick  layers of  crude  oil polluting the water in the centre  stretch  of the river ad creeks  in the various committees affected. The  spill has severly  affected aquatic creatures  in the area, like  fish, snails which is one  of the major sources of income for the people. 

Dumping site:

In Nigeria today, dumping site is  a common example of nuisance that is found everywhere. As  one of  the harmful environmental  effects, it causes disease of different kinds in the environment. Almost  every cities  in Nigeria except Calaba and Abuja, the Federal Capital pays low attention to it. Every day  people die here and there as a result of environmental  nuisance, the result is that  the environmental consequence of nuisance contribute to the  reductions of the  Nigerian population. 

It also leads  to environmental degradation which thereby reducing the value of our environment.

Most importantly, why is the natural endowment that God used  in blessing Nigeria now becomes a constituent  problems to her .

The answer is that, it is the negligent of the people who manages the sectors. For example, the oil spillage in different parts of the country Nigeria.

In conclusion however, drawing inference from the comprehensive averment above, starting from the beginning to the end, nuisance has nothing good to offer in Nigerian environment
