1. Shipping Officer at Owens and Xley

Job Type: Full Time.

Qualification: BA/BSc/HND.

Experience: 3 – 4 years.

Location: Not specified.

Job Field: Logistics.

Salary Range:  ₦100,000 – ₦150,000/month.

Key Responsibility

Practical and Hands on experience in the process of establishing Mform, Letters of credit, SON (Standard Organisation Of Nigeria) online Applications, shipping documents and other related import clearing operations.

Qualifications

1. HND/BSc with 3/4 years relevant experience in a .

2. Communication and Computer skills (Excel and Words) are highly essential. Exposure to NAVISION software is an added advantage.

Our client is in need of an Accountant that will be responsible for preparing the financial statements, reports and other related financial activities.

Duties / Responsibilities

1. Prepare financial statements.

2. Examine and analyze the company’s accounts.

3. Ensure compliance with financial reporting and other standard accounting procedures.

4. Ensure that proper documentation is in place.

5. Review current practices and processes to ensure that they can support the business and are in line with statutory requirements.

6. Ensure statutory remittances, including VAT, WHT, pension, business premises fees, development fees for staff, and PAYE are collated and payment is made to statutory agencies based on scheduled timelines.

7. Prepare pay slips for all employees based on schedule and emails accordingly.

8. Work with CEO on pricing new company products.

9. Process payments to vendors.

10. Perform any other task assigned.

Skills / Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree or HND in accounting from an accredited institution.

2. ICAN or ACCA certified with not less than 3 years experience in the field of accounting

3. Proficient in the use of accounting software and MS office.

4. Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

5. Proven knowledge of management accounting and tax laws.

6. Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation.

Salary

N150,000 net per month.

Job Responsibilities

1. Oversee production process and manage individuals in the production team to ensure efficiency.

2. Prepare job cards.

3. Assign tasks from the job cards to tailors.

4. Carry out fabric tests before production.
