The PhD Scholarship in Nanosensors
is an Australian public research university based in Melbourne, Victoria.
Founded in 1887 as the Working Men’s College of Melbourne by Francis Ormond, it initially opened as a private night school offering instruction in art, science and technology in response to the industrial revolution in Australia.
This PhD scholarship is attached to an Australian Research Council (ARC) Discovery project.
The project will develop a robust for the rapid detection of foodborne pathogens while understanding nano-biomolecular interactions.
Benefits of PhD Scholarship in Nanosensors
The University will fund the Scholarship for a fixed term of 3 years offering a stipend of $33,826 per annum pro rata (full-time study).

To be considered for the PhD Scholarship, applicants must hold or be currently completing:
1. A Master by research.
2. A Master by coursework with a significant research component graded as high distinction, or equivalent.
3. A Honours degree achieving first class honors.
4. A 4 year bachelor degree achieving a GPA of 4 or equivalent (80% or above).
