About Plateau State Polytechnic (PLAPOLY)
Plateau State Polytechnic is a Federal polytechnic in Plateau State, North Central Nigeria. The institution was founded in 1978 as a College of Technology on the site of Government Technical College, Bukuru. It became a polytechnic in 1980.
The institution has two campuses, one at Barkin Ladi and the other at Bukuru near Jos, the capital of the state. It provides education to the degree and national diploma level. The rector is Arch. John Dawam.

Alternatively, candidates can also confirm their admission status on the JAMB portal by following the procedure outlined below:
1. Go to the JAMB portal at .
2. Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
3. Scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.
4. Select your Exam year and Enter your registration number in the required columns.
5. Finally, click on ‘Check Admission Status‘ to access your PLAPOLY admission status.
Successfully admitted candidates are advised to:
➢ Login to their JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) and ACCEPT or REJECT their admission.
➢ Print their JAMB admission letter after accepting the admission.
➢ They are advised to print their original JAMB result slip (this comes with passport photography affixed to it).
➢ Apply for a change of course on the JAMB Portal in case they are offered courses different from the ones they initially applied for.
Candidates not yet admitted should note that admission is in progress. Regularly check the JAMB site and the University’s website for their admission status.
