POSSIBLE PROBLEM OF FAMILY CARE FELLOWSHIP AND THEIR SOLUTIONS:

(A)  Possible Problems:

1.         Leadership Struggle:  Who should be under who ?

2.         Turning the fellowship to party-meetings.

3.         Staying for a long time                                  . .

4.         Borrowing without repaying due to over-familiarity

5.         Temptation of using offering money by Leaders

6.         Temptation of cell leaders using their pastoral roles to Usurp authority and cause divisions.

7.         A chance for carnal believers to establish undue relationship (in the name of visitation) with opposite sex.

8.         Leaders of a group of family cells may form bad cliques.

(B)  Possible Solutions:

1.   Leadership Struggles: Every Pastor should be personally convinced of the leading of the Holy Spirit in his appointments.The Assistant fellowship leader automatically becomes a cell Leader immediately there is cell division.

2.   Turning the fellowship to party meetings: Warning the participants before hand against it and where possible place a restriction or limit on what could be offered and accepted.

3.   Staying for a long time:  The operational format should be used as

4.   Borrowing without Repaying: The Pastor should be prepared to handle this case as they arise or make policy statement to this effect when the time demands such.

5.  Temptation of Using Offering Money by leaders: To avoid this, the Pastor should appoint a registrar and treasurer for each cell group immediately such group becomes functional.

6.  Temptation Usurp Authority: The Pastor should re-consider the qualities of good cell leaders listed in 2:1a-f above in appointing Cell Leaders.

7.   For problem seven and eight above,  the Pastor is well able to solve. them if problems 1-6 could be well handled.

Conclusion: There is no pigeon-holed blue print in the things of God. The Holy Spirit is our perfect teacher. Be in tune with him.
