Primary School Scholarships in Nigeria: Scholarships exist for all pupils and students of different school categories both at the local and international levels.

Most of these scholarships are offered by nongovernment organizations and foundations that are established to encourage education in Nigeria.

Children are known to be the leaders of tomorrow, thus, education is our primary tool to making them useful to society in the future and not a societal nuisance that would create havoc, chaos, and regret to the parents.

List of Primary Schools Scholarship

1. TECHNO MOBILE SCHOLARSHIP: Techno Mobile has been awarding scholarships to primary school pupils from across Nigeria. The scholarship which is usually awarded annually is to support and encourage learning among young children and to lighten parent’s burden.

2. SHELL SCHOLARSHIPS: Shell Nigeria also offers scholarships for pupils. This is done annually for children in Abia, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Imo, Delta, and Cross River State. The program is to enhance the civilization of every Nigerian child as education is the key to becoming a reputable future leader.

3. GASLINK NIGERIA LIMITED: Is a subsidiary of and Power initiated its Back-To-School scholarship programme for 100 primary and secondary children in Ikeja and the Greater area. The scholarships are awarded to children who had dropped out of school or who had never had the opportunity of formal basic education due to financial constraints.

4. LAGOOZ SCHOOLS SCHOLARSHIP: Lagooz Schools have resolved to award full-time scholarship, tuition, and boarding (optional) for qualified pupils and students in public and private primary and secondary schools within Nigeria in commemoration of the various awards and accolades we have won both at state and national levels.

How to Get Primary School Scholarship Application Form

The application form for the scholarship can be obtained from the school or online through our website. The following conditions apply:

  • Public and private schools (primary and secondary): The application form is free. However, intending candidates should come with original copies of their result sheets for the first and second terms.
  • Eligible candidates for the scholarship scheme must have scored a minimum of 70% in each of the subjects taken during first and second terms’ examinations.
