4. Students studying from class 11 to the post-doctorate level are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
Post-Matric Punjab Scholarship for Other Backward Class
1. The student must belong to the Other Backward Class (OBC) community.
2. The student’s family income must not exceed Rs 2.5 lakhs annually.
3. Any student from class 11 to post-doctorate level can apply for this scholarship.
4. The student must have achieved a minimum of 60% marks in class 10 and a minimum of 75% marks in their higher secondary examination.
Post-Matric Punjab Scholarship for Minority Community
1. The student must belong to a minority community, including Sikhs, Buddhists, Christians, Parsis, Jains, and Muslims.
2. The student’s family annual income should not exceed Rs 1 lakh.
3. The student must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in their last examination.
4. Any student from class 11 to Ph.D. level can apply for this scholarship.
5. This scholarship is limited to one student per family.
Merit cum Means Scholarship
1. The student must belong to a minority community, including Sikhs, Buddhists, Christians, Parsis, Jains, and Muslims.
2. The student’s family income should not exceed Rs 2.5 lakhs per annum.
3. The student must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in their last examination.
4. This scholarship is open to students from class 11 to PhD level.
5. Additionally, all class 10 students who have passed the National Talent Search Examination can also apply for this scholarship.

Punjab Scholarship Documents Required

The Sikh and other minority category students can apply for the post-matric scholarship between September and October 2022.
The pre-matric scholarship application period is from August to October 2022.
For SC/OBC students, the post-matric scholarship application period will begin in November 2022, and the last date to apply for the post-matric scholarship for SC/OBC students is also in November 2022.
