▸ Providers’ non-clinical / service complaints are documented and referred to the appropriate internal parties, such as Provider Relations and the Plan Chief Medical Officer.
▸ Work with providers on care standards and provides guidance on established clinical practice guidelines, as well as proper documentation and billing in accordance with state-specific measures and technological requirements.
▸ During ambulatory medical record review, HEDIS data collection, or other focus studies as determined by the Plan Quality Director, supports state-specific medical record collecting and abstraction processes.

Certification: Persons who administer radiologic operations must meet the credentialing standards in 42 CFR Part 75, according to Public Law 97-35.
They must, in essence, have finished an educational program that meets or exceeds the standards outlined in that rule and is approved by a body recognized by the Department of Education, as well as be certified as radiographers in their profession.
