Research Preparation Scholarship is now open for applications from suitably qualified students. It is a fully funded scholarship for all students sponsored by the Flinders University.

About the Scholarship

In Adelaide, South Australia, there is a public university called Flinders University. It was established in 1966, and navigator Matthew Flinders, who explored and mapped the South Australian coastline in the early 19th century, was honored in its name.

The Research Preparation Scholarship for Indigenous Students’ main aim is to financially assist an indigenous student for a full academic year as they pursue a course of study that, once finished, will allow them to be admitted to a research higher degree program.

Benefits of Research Preparation Scholarship

The value of the scholarship will be equivalent to the current Flinders University Research Scholarship rate for up to one year of study.

The scholarship will be paid in fortnightly payments and will begin once the successful awardee has evidence of full time enrolment in the approved pathway degree.
