Flinders University is now accepting applications from suitably qualified students for their Rotary Club Foundation Scholarship. It is a fully-funded scholarship for all students.
About Flinders University
Flinders University is a public university in Adelaide, South Australia. Founded in 1966, it was named in honor of navigator Matthew Flinders, who explored and surveyed the South Australian coastline in the early 19th century.
The Rotary Club of the Barossa Valley Foundation Scholarship has been established to provide financial assistance to undergraduate students.
Aim and Benefits of Scholarship
Subject to available funding, one new scholarship with a value of $3,000 will be offered each year.

Requirements for Scholarship
Applicants must:
1. Be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen or an Australian permanent resident; and
2. Have resided in the Barossa Valley/Eden Valley Wine Region in the five years prior to commencing university study; and
3. Be commencing their first undergraduate degree in the year of the award; and
4. Be enrolling full-time at Flinders University; and
5. Be able to demonstrate financial hardship.
Selection Process
The Rotary Club of the Barossa Valley Foundation Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need, academic merit, and level of demonstrated participation in school activities and responsibilities and/or community activities in the Barossa Valley/Eden Valley area.
Selection will be made in accordance with procedures approved by the Director, Academic and Student Services and may involve consultation with the Rotary Club of the Barossa Valley Foundation.
