Russell E. Train fellowships help students pursue a Masters Degree in conservation studies.
The World Wildlife Fund supports conservation leaders in the countries where it is located with the goal of obtaining funds to fund their research.
The Russell E. Train Fellowships provide financial assistance to those seeking master’s or doctoral degrees in conservation and related fields.
Every year, WWF assists committed researchers and conservationists in the target nations in securing funding for their projects.
EFN seeks applications from the present and upcoming generations of academics and practitioners to pursue graduate-level studies (master’s and PhDs) geared toward research that encourages a fuller understanding of the place-based character of food system change.
Russell E. Train Fellowships 2022 Benefit
Funded Russell Applicants may apply for up to two years of funding and request up to $30,000 per year.
Russell E. Train Fellowships Eligibility
- You must be a citizen and legal permanent resident of an eligible country.
- You must have at least two years of conservation-related work or research experience.
- You must have a demonstrated commitment to working in conservation in an eligible country.
- You must be enrolled in, admitted to, or have applied to a master’s or PhD program anywhere in the world.
- You must plan to begin your studies no later than January 2024.
- To determine eligibility, you must contact EFN if you are a WWF employee, consultant, or previous EFN grant recipient.
- You must submit all required documents by the application deadline (February 1, 2022).
Applicants may apply in English, Spanish, French, or Portuguese.
