Sakshi Shivanand is an Indian actress, who mainly works in South Indian films. She is the elder sister of the Indian TV actress Shilpa Anand/Ohanna Shivanand, who played the role of Dr Riddhima in the Hindi TV serial ‘Dill Mill Gayye’ (2007).

Telugu
In 1993, she started her career as an actor with the Telugu film ‘Anna Vadina’ in which she played the role of Radha (Menaka).
Some of her other Telugu films are ‘Master’ (1997), ‘Rajahamsa’ (1998), ‘Yuvaraju’ (2000), ‘Homan’ (2008), and ‘Ranga The Donga’ (2010).
Hindi
In 1995, she made her Hindi film debut with ‘Janam Kundli’ as Madhu.
She has acted in a few Hindi films like ‘Papa Kehte Hai’ (1996), ‘Zanjeer’ (1998), ‘Krodh’ (2000), ‘Aapko Pehle Bhi Kahin Dekha Hai’ (2003), and ‘Jahan Jaaeyega Hamen Paaeyega’ (2007).

In 2003, she was featured in the Hindi video “Hum Ko To Hai Poora Yakeen” by MSN Cricket and Sports MSN India for the Indian cricket team, which was participating in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2003.
Controversy
Accused of Harassing Her Family
In March 2020, her sister Shilpa Anand shared an Instagram post in which Shilpa accused Sakshi of harassing her mother and sending a legal notice for the property. According to the reports, Shilpa even accused Sakshi’s husband and mother-in-law of physically abusing Shilpa and her mother. However, later, the matter was resolved.
