The Nigerian police force has the duty of enforcing the law in Nigeria. Therefore, they are the principal law enforcement agency in Nigeria. As of today, they have up to 371,800 men and officers.

Selection From Each State
According to the Federal Government at least, 50 volunteers will be recruited from each of the 774 local government areas in the country.
Remember that the Community Policing recruitment was scheduled for August last year. Also, they did not take place because of some reasons.
