Scholarships based on SAT Score aims at providing financial support for students. This support is to help students facing financial challenges to achieve their academic dreams. There are well-funded scholarships.

Meaning of SAT Score

In order to understand what an is, there is a need to know what is SAT. As such, note that SAT is a standardized test widely used for college admissions in the U.S.

Though originally called the Scholastic Aptitude Test, it was later called the Scholastic Assessment Test.

Later, it was called the SAT I: Reasoning Test. Also, the SAT Reasoning Test, then simply the SAT. However, since it was debuted by the College Board in 1926, its name and scoring have changed several times.

Also, note that SAT score is the score associated with this test. In other words, it is the score one has in this test. Also, note that SAT score range is 400-1600.

And this is for your total score and 200-800 for each of your two section scores.

1. SAT Scores from 400 To 1,000

➢ Army ROTC Four-Year High School Scholarship

It’s important to note that this scholarship is for high school students. Also, it’s for those planning on attending a four-year college program.

Requirement: Applicant must be between the ages of 17 and 26. Also, must have a minimum 2.5 GPA. Additionally, one must have a high school diploma or equivalent. And must score a minimum of 1000 on the SAT / 19 on the ACT and meet physical standards.

➢ Actuarial Diversity Scholarship

This is one of the Scholarships based on SAT Score. And this scholarship promotes diversity. Also, it is within the profession.

And, it’s through an annual scholarship program. Furthermore, it’s for Black/African American, Hispanic, Native North American and Pacific Islander students.

However, note. Applicant must have at least one birth parent who is a member of one of the following minority groups:

1. Black/African American.

2. Hispanic.

3. Also, Native North Americans.

4. Additionally, Pacific Islanders.

Award Amount: $4,000.

Requirement: Applicant must have the intention of pursuing a career in the actuarial profession. Also, must be a full-time undergraduate student at a U.S. accredited educational institution.

And must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale). Also, must have a minimum ACT math score of 28 or SAT math score of 600.

2. SAT Scores from 1,001 To 1,200

➢ CITe Incoming Student Tuition Scholarship

The CITe Incoming Student Tuition Scholarship was established to recruit outstanding students to the college’s Information Systems program. Also, it is one of the Scholarships based on SAT Score.

Furthermore, please note. Recipients of the scholarship will be selected by the CITe Scholarship Committee. And it’s going to be on the basis of academic merit.

Requirement: Applicant must be an incoming freshman. Also, must have a high school GPA of at least 3.0. And an ACT score of at least 22 or SAT scores of at least 1010. Also, must be an Information Systems major.

➢ Boise State WUE Award

Also, this is one of the Scholarships based on SAT Score. But, to be considered for the WUE Award, note. You must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Additionally, you must have a permanent residence within one of the following participating states/U.S. territories:

1. Alaska.

2. Also, Arizona.

3. Additionally, California, or Colorado.

4. Furthermore, Hawaii.

5. Montana, Nevada, or New Mexico.

Requirement: Applicant must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident. Additionally, must have a 3.2 GPA from high school, and maintain a 2.5 for renewal.

3. SAT Scores from 1,240 To 1,400

➢ Engebretson Foundation Scholarship

Again, this is one of the Scholarships based on SAT Score. Also, note that the  Engebretson Foundation Scholarship is awarded to one student each year.

However, the student must be a high school senior. And must demonstrate not only financial need but also impressive academic performance and leadership ability.

Additionally, note, please. The annual award winner receives $5,000 per semester of college. Also, winners may reapply for the prize every year.

Requirement: Applicant must be a high school senior. And must demonstrate not only financial need but also impressive academic performance and leadership ability.

Additionally, must have an ACT of 28 or an SAT of 1240. Also, must have a 3.75 GPA or above and/or top 5% of graduating class.

4. SAT Scores from 1,401 To 1,600

➢ Colorado Christian University Honors Scholarship

It’s important you note that CCU awards scholarships to new freshmen. However, it’s for those who meet specific academic requirements. And are guaranteed for up to eight semesters.

This is as long as the student maintains satisfactory academic progress (SAP). Also, and is continuously enrolled in CCU’s College of Undergraduate Studies.

Award Amount: $7,000.

Requirement: Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Also, must have a minimum ACT Composite score of 21 or SAT II score of 1450.
