2. Zombie Apocalypse Scholarship
All students are invited to apply, regardless of academic distinction or financial need. The sponsor is searching for qualified individuals who will follow the instructions and submit well-written applications that clearly and artistically approach the issue.
A competent team of judges will choose one winner on or around January 31 based on writing skill (25 percent), creativity (25 percent), originality (25 percent), and overall excellence (25 percent) (25 percent).
With a tie, the candidate with the higher total excellence score will be the prospective winner.
Sponsor and its affiliated firms’ current employees, officers, directors, and agents, as well as members of their immediate families (defined as spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and those living at the same address, are not eligible.
Eligibility Requirements:
1. This creative and fun scholarship program is open to all U.S. students 14 and older and who are currently enrolled (or enroll no later than fall of 2026) in an accredited post-secondary institution of higher education.

Wisconsin Scholarships

2. Six Meter Club Of Chicago Scholarship
The Six Meter of Chicago Scholarship is available for licensed radio amateurs that live in Illinois, Indiana, or Wisconsin.
Students with a grade point average of 2.5 or better are given priority. Via mid-May, recipients are usually contacted by USPS mail and email.
Eligibility Requirements:
1. For undergraduate students who are licensed radio amateurs and live in Illinois, Indiana, or Wisconsin.

West Virginia Scholarships

2. To be eligible for this award, applicants must be enrolled in a two- or four-year college, university, or trade school.

The Gary Wagner, K3OMI, Scholarship is provided annually to amateur radio enthusiasts in North Carolina, Maryland, Tennessee, Virginia, or West Virginia.

2. Students must live in North Carolina, Maryland, Tennessee, Virginia, or West Virginia.

Alabama Scholarships
If you want to attend an Alabama institution and live in the state, Alabama scholarships may help you pay for your education. Alabama offers 77 educational options, including community colleges, and professional and four-year public and private institutions.
Some of Alabama’s biggest institutions provide scholarships based on financial need or merit. Alabama scholarships are often offered to entering freshmen at the University of Alabama, Auburn University, and Troy University.
According to the NCES, Alabama citizens spent an average of $9,827 per year in-state public schools from 2017 to 2018.
Out-of-state students pay an average of $24,939 in tuition and fees. Tuition and expenses at private four-year institutions are on average $16,321 per year.

The Charles Clarke Cordle Memorial Scholarship is provided to students in Alabama and Georgia who have an amateur radio license.
Eligibility Requirements:
1. This award is given to a licensed radio amateur who lives in Georgia or Alabama and attends college there.

Preference for the North Fulton Amateur Radio League Scholarship will be given to students who are majoring in engineering or computer science

Florida Scholarships

Chipola College was established in 1947 and functioned as a private educational school for one year.

A college district comprised of Jackson, Calhoun, and Washington Counties was permitted to function as a public institution under the provisions of this statute, with financial assistance from the three counties and the state of Florida.
The State Board of Education gave this authority, and Chipola Junior College became a public institution on September 1, 1948.
Calhoun, Jackson, and Washington counties were included in the first district, which was subsequently enlarged to add Holmes and Liberty counties.

Belhaven Merit-Based Scholarships – These scholarships are “open-ended,” meaning that any full-time students who meet the criteria and are pursuing a first bachelor’s degree in a traditional undergraduate program will be considered.
Scholarships based on merit cannot be combined with tuition reductions, exemptions, or sponsorships.
Merit-based scholarships are renewable for up to four years (eight semesters) as long as full-time enrollment and excellent academic advancement are maintained.
