The following scholarships are offered by Finland Universities and Finland Government Scholarship Pool.

1# Finland Government Scholarship

Scholarships are available to study in Finland for Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree programs. The scholarship is funded by the Government of Finland.

2# Finnish Goovernment Scholarship Pool

Scholarships from the Finnish Government Scholarship Pool are only available for doctoral studies. Masters-level studies are not eligible for this scholarship.

3# EDUFI Doctoral Fellowships in Finland

EDUFI Fellowships are open to young graduate students and researchers from all countries and from all academic fields wishing to pursue a Doctorate (or Double Doctorate) at a Finnish university.

4# Erasmus Mundus Scholarship Programs

Students from abroad can study in Finland through the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship Program. Erasmus Mundus Scholarships fund a number of study programs at Finnish universities.

5# The University of Helsinki Scholarship

How to Study in Finland Without IELTS

In order to study at Finaldn without IELTS, students must demonstrate that they speak English well enough. Other than IELTS, students can apply to Finnish universities in the following ways:

 

  1. The student’s native language is English OR
  2. The previous academic degree of the student was taught in English at a university in the EU/EEA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or the USA. OR
  3. Students from Finland can also apply if only part of their previous academic degree was taught in English (English Proficiency Letter).

An English medium of study certificate can be provided by your previous educational institution.

At the time of admission, you must provide an English Proficiency certificate or Medium of Instruction (MOI).

Studying at a university that waives IELTS requires English proficiency as an alternative. Rather than submitting your IELTS scores.
