– BGHS Doctoral Scholarships –
The University of Bielefeld is now accepting applications from suitably qualified students into their BGHS Doctoral Scholarships for students. It is a well-funded scholarship for all students.
The Bielefeld University was founded in 1969 with an explicit research assignment and a mission to provide high-quality research-oriented teaching.
With far-reaching aims to reform nearly every area of higher education, the University has made valuable contributions to in Germany and upholds its interdisciplinary, innovative and reform-oriented character to this day.
Eligibility for BGHS Doctoral Scholarships
To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Applicants must hold a degree in the social sciences or the humanities, e.g. in history, sociology, social anthropology, political science, didactics of social sciences, gender studies, Inter-American Studies (IAS) or History, Philosophy and Sociology of Science (HPSS).

ANS: Unfortunately, due to the large number of applications that we receive, we are unable to give individual feedback to unsuccessful students.
QUES ♠ When will I find out if I have been offered a BGHS Doctoral Scholarships?
ANS: Applicants will be notified no later than one month after the scholarship deadline. This will be by email using the email address on your application.
QUES ♠ Can I defer my BGHS Doctoral Scholarships?
ANS: No, you cannot defer your BGHS Doctoral Scholarships. You can defer your course application and will be welcome to reapply for the scholarship but we cannot guarantee that you will receive the scholarship, even if you have been successful in a previous application.
