The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is now accepting entries from interested Nigerians for its 2021 EFCC Essay Challenge.

About

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC) is a Nigerian law enforcement agency that investigates financial crimes such as advance fee fraud and money laundering.

The EFCC was established in 2003, partially in response to pressure from the Financial Action Task Force on Money Laundering (FATF), which named Nigeria as one of 23 countries non-cooperative in the international community’s efforts to fight money laundering. The agency has its head office in Abuja.

Eligibility for EFCC Essay Challenge

In order to be eligible to apply for the competition, applicants must:

1. Be a Nigerian Dollar to Naira Rate

2. Write and submit an essay on the topic: HOW TO FIGHT ECONOMIC AND CRIMES TO MAKE NIGERIA GREAT AGAIN.

3. The essay must not be over 1000 words.

Kindly Note:

A panel of judges shall comprise persons from the media, academia, and civil society organizations.

Three winners will emerge and be invited to Abuja on December 9th, 2021 during the grand and for the award of prizes to mark the “International Anti-corruption Day 2021”

Application Deadline for Essay Challenge

The deadline for the submission of entries for the EFCC Essay Challenge is 15th November 2021.
